1. Who we are

This service ("Quick Content Polish", "Slop & Think", "we", "us") is operated by Ben Harvell, a sole trader based at Hollywater Road, Bordon, Hampshire, GU35 0AD, United Kingdom. By using the service you are entering into an agreement with Ben Harvell.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

3. The service

The service takes a draft you provide and returns an AI-rewritten version intended to read more naturally. Outputs are generated by AI models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected phrasing. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or relying on them. The service is not suitable for regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial) without human oversight.

You must not use the service to:

You are responsible for your prompts, your inputs, your use of the outputs, and for verifying that outputs are accurate and appropriate for your purpose. We may remove content, refuse outputs, or suspend accounts that breach these rules. Rights-holders can contact us at hello@slopandthink.com to request takedown of infringing content; repeat infringement will result in termination.

5. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the service, including its software, design, and branding. As between you and us, you retain rights to the inputs you submit and to the outputs you receive, subject to the rights of the underlying model providers and applicable law. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to provide the service.

6. Payment, billing, refunds

Payments are taken at checkout by Shopify Payments on our behalf. Ben Harvell is the merchant of record for all orders and is responsible for VAT and applicable taxes where required. Receipts are issued by Shopify. See our Refund Policy for our refund commitments.

7. Service availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after we post an update constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
